Originally this was an online project devised in 2005 for Electric Pavilion at Watershed, in Bristol. It asked viewers to comment on different images. In return, they received a small original artwork in response to their views, These artworks were then put online.
A second version was designed in 2006, for the exhibition BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
at Stourhead, Wiltshire.
was a physical intervention made in 2009.
It brought the virtual world of the Internet into the real world of art venues, where people could ‘log on’ to the world’s first wooden website, look at the pictures and post a comment through the letter box to get their free artwork.
It proved popular with all age groups, including those who never went online.
